Even if you’re not a parent, maybe you have a friend who is in the market for a stroller or more (check out Bugaboo’s accessories). Maybe you’re interested in giving something of that nature as a gift…

Well, Bugaboo is a new company that has innovated the design of strollers who has partnered up with (BLOG) RED to allow its customers to purchase their products, items they were in the market for anyway, while simultaneously helping raise funds for mothers and children living with HIV/AIDS in Africa because, as I mentioned above: Bugaboo is going to giving 1% of their total revenue to The Global Fund which is the leading financer for programs to fight AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria in Africa.

Again, please check out (BLOG) RED here to learn about more upcoming events and methods of raising funds. If you’d like to learn more about The Global Fund visit their site…which is where I also learned:

Mandy Moore was involved in the launching of the Sudan Bed Net Distribution Campaign during her week long stay in Southern Sudan. I pulled the quote below from The Global Fund’s site where she kept track of her experience in an online journal you can find here.mandy Here’s an excerpt from her first entry:

” This is my first trip to Africa and my first experience as an Ambassador for Five & Alive, PSI’s child survival program. I am super excited to learn about the amazing work being done, financed by The Global Fund.”

I love Mandy Moore even more now.
